What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client and Animal Services Specialist position at Humane Society of Missouri?
Our Client and Animal Services Specialist interacts with the public both in-person and by phone to conduct animal intake/receiving, processing, and adoption of animals. This role primarily covers the front-desk of the shelter. If you love working with animals and communicating with people, this job could be a great fit for you.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Cleaning reception area,
- Completing and filing paperwork,
- Operating Adoption Center computer system, and
- Providing essential care to animals received.
The role has starting pay of $14/hour. We are currently looking to fill full-time, entry-level positions, which include weekend hours, at our Headquarters on Macklind Avenue in St. Louis.
Qualified candidates must have: a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service, communication and computer skills, and animal handling experience is preferred.
