Humancare is currently interviewing for a Receptionist to manage our front desk daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The receptionist position would require the applicant to speak and write fluently in both "English and Creole" languages. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. The receptionist will welcome guests and greet people who visit the office. Receptionist will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. As a receptionist with our organization, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Addressing visitor’s questions and needs, and providing an overall welcoming environment
- Manage telephone calls in a supportive and professional manner
- Sort mail and work with multifunctional office machines
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges if needed)
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in speaking, writing, reading in both English and Creole languages.
- Must be computer literate –HHA Exchange system preferred or similar database (We are willing to train)
- Ability to perform and manage responsibilities concurrently in a demanding and busy environment while the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management and visitors

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
