Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Public Health Educator, based in Fairmont, MN. The Public Health Educator will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering health education programs to promote wellness within the community. Daily tasks include conducting outreach, creating educational materials, collaborating with community partners, organizing events, and evaluating program effectiveness to improve health outcomes. Additionally, the role will require maintaining detailed records and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of public health principles, health promotion, and community outreach
- Ability to create and deliver health education programs and materials for diverse audiences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with community partners and stakeholders
- Experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and maintaining accurate records
- Proficiency with relevant computer software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, or related field
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health regulations (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team
