JOB SUMMARYResponsible for providing leadership, clinical guidance and program oversight to a team of professionals delivering MAR services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Duties include, but are not limited to:Provide supervision, direction, and leadership to clinical and support staff within the MAT program.Foster a collaborative, cohesive team environment promoting professional growth and high-quality service delivery.Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and individual supervision sessions to ensure accountability and quality of care.Oversee delivery of medication-assisted treatment services, including opioid agonist therapies (e.g., methadone, buprenorphine) and adjunctive behavioral health interventions.Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans that integrate medication management, counseling, and supportive services.Monitor client progress and participate in utilization management to ensure appropriate clinical interventions and outcomes.Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) reviews to ensure client documentation meets regulatory, funding, and accreditation standards.Ensure accurate and timely documentation of billable services, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with Medicaid and agency policies.Manage program operations including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff; evaluate performance and recommend promotions, salary changes, or corrective action as appropriate.Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and funding source regulations affecting MAT operations.Coordinate client intake and assessment processes, ensuring timely access to care and smooth transitions between services.Develop and monitor program performance metrics; implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including medication handling, documentation, and confidentiality requirements.Ensure adherence to accreditation standards, best practices, and internal policies.Provide and document clinical supervision in accordance with agency and credentialing requirements.Maintain current certifications, licensure, and continuing education as required.Support recruitment and retention of clients through community engagement and outreach efforts.Build and sustain partnerships with community agencies, healthcare providers, and referral sources to promote collaboration and client success.Represent Friend Health – HRDI and the MAT Program at meetings, conferences, and community events.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required.Current Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification required.Experience:Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a clinical setting required.At least one (1) year of clinical supervision experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong clinical and leadership skills with the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Commitment to quality care, integrity, and teamwork.SMART GOALS (Aligned with Organizational Objectives)Client Outcomes:Increase MAT client retention rate by 10% within the first 12 months through enhanced follow-up and engagement strategies.Quality Assurance:Maintain 95% compliance rate in documentation audits and treatment plan completion within designated timeframes.Staff Development:Conduct quarterly training sessions and achieve 100% completion of clinical supervision logs for all direct reports.Program Growth:Expand community partnerships and increase MAT client referrals by 15% within one year.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS(The unavoidable, externally imposed conditions under which the work must be performed, and which create hardship for the incumbent including the frequency and duration of occurrence of physical demands, environmental conditions, demands on one’s senses, and mental demands.)
