Role Overview:

We are seeking a Finance Manager to partner closely with executive leadership and play a critical role in scaling HCE's financial operations post-acquisition. This role will report to the VP of Finance and serve as a strategic thought partner across forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, performance management, and investment decision-making. The Finance Manager will own key financial models, lead planning cycles, and help evolve financial processes as the organization grows

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and enhance company-wide financial models supporting forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis.
  • Lead the monthly forecasting and variance analysis process, identifying risks and opportunities versus plan.
  • Analyze financial statements, operating metrics, and KPIs to deliver actionable insights for leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to executive leadership and functional leaders across the organization.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial materials for executive leadership, investors, and the Board of Directors.
  • Support strategic initiatives including pricing strategy, organic growth investments, and M&A analysis.
  • Partner with the University Partnerships team to build pricing, deal economics, and profitability models for new and existing clients.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, financial simulations, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate business opportunities and risks.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting, and systems to support scalability and accuracy.
  • Support NetSuite reporting, planning, and data integrity (experience preferred but not required).
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members as the team scales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
  • 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or consulting with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
  • Proven experience owning forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling processes.
  • Experience preparing and presenting materials to executive leadership, investors, and Boards of Directors.
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel expertise.
  • Experience with M&A analysis and strategic investment evaluation strongly preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively under deadlines.
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong business judgment, curiosity, and ownership mindset.

Salary: $130,000-$160,000

This is not a remote job, must be located in Denver Area.
