What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Accountant/Accounting Practice Administrative Assistant position at Human Accounting Partners?
We're a small but quickly growing accounting firm in Cary. The position will pay $20-22/hr depending on experience and skills. This candidate will be supporting a CPA/owner, an Operations Manager, five Accountants/CPAs and three additional Administrative Assistants. Experience in Excel, bookkeeping, payroll, and CRMs, an understanding of small business entities and their accounting needs, enjoy working as part of a team, along with excellent client communication skills are all a must. We've each been with the practice for 1-10 years and pride ourselves on being a family away from home that supports one another and truly cares about our Small Business Owner and Personal Tax Return clients.
We'd like to start interviewing next week and make an offer by the end of July, when we find the right fit, in order to have the position filled by August 1st. This will give us plenty of time to complete the candidate's on-boarding and training before the 2027 Tax Season is upon us. We want to set this new candidate up for success immediately while also keeping up with our growing client base.
Salary : $20 - $22
