What are the responsibilities and job description for the PM Restaurant Busser position at Hulsing Hotels/ Earth Fare / Accucare?
Busser is responsible for assisting servers and kitchen staff by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, restocking service stations, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room. The Busser represents the hotel to all guests and completes all daily duties and assigned projects utilizing the principles, policies and standards of Hulsing Hotels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clears and resets tables promptly and efficiently between guest seatings.
- Removes soiled dishes, glassware, and flatware from tables and transports them to the dishwashing area.
- Wipes down and sanitizes tables, chairs, booths, and other dining room surfaces throughout the shift.
- Restocks and maintains service stations with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
- Sweeps and mops dining room floors, keeping walkways clear of debris and spills.
- Assists servers with delivering water, bread, and other items to guest tables as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of the dining room, including windows, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Notifies supervisor of all potential safety hazards, as well as all customer complaints.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Must be team oriented, energetic, friendly and show initiative.
- Must be able to represent the hotel in a professional manner to hotel guests.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs. for extended periods during a shift.
