What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Busser position at TGI Friday's?
We are looking for a Busser to support our wait staff in the dining room and bar areas. Busser responsibilities include clearing plates, glasses, silverware and cleaning tables. If you enjoy a fast-paced way of working and want to kickstart your career in the hospitality industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience. Compensation includes hourly rate plus tips.
Duties/Responsibilities (included but not limited to the following):
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
- Remove dirty dishes, utensils and replenish, as needed
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave
- Maintain health and safety regulations in all dining areas
- Manage and clean bussing station
- Perform other general cleaning duties throughout shift and at closing
Skills/Qualifications:
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Must be able to frequently immerse hands in hot and cold water
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to hear well in an environment with load background noise
