Hull's Environmental Services is an environmental services contractor with facilities in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and Oklahoma. Hull's conducts emergency spill response, site remediation, field & industrial services, hazardous & non-hazardous waste management and oil field services for both the public sector and private industry.
Open Position
Our facility in Hiram, GA is hiring Class A CDL Drivers with a HazMat endorsement preferred. The CDL Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to DOT and HAZMAT regulations. This position is not an all driving position; it does at times require hands on, out of the truck work. This position does require the employee to be clean-shaven to meet the OSHA standards of wearing a respirator. Our drivers work locally but may be asked to travel out of town occasionally for emergency spill response and project based work.

Training will be provided. Generally Monday through Friday work week with occasional weekends. On-call status IS A MUST!
Job responsibilities:
- Operate vacuum truck, roll-off truck, tractor, tractor and tankers, dump truck and other large commercial vehicles
- Assist environmental crews with various field work including emergency spill response, industrial cleaning, waste hauling, field services, site remediation and related activities
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management
- Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
Skills and certifications:
- Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsement and HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Hazardous waste experience and certifications (i.e. OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER)
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (Respirator)
- Heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience
- Previous environmental services industry experience ideal
- No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years
- No DWI/DUI in last 10 years
- Commercial driving experience required
