As an Assistant Store Manager at Huk Gear, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Store Manager in the day-to-day functions of the store while fostering a positive and high-energy environment among the staff. Your leadership capabilities and dedication to providing excellent customer service will contribute to our mission of delivering the best experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop employees to deliver exceptional performance and customer service.
- Ensure that store merchandising meets company standards and reflects the Huk brand.
- Support inventory management processes, including stock control, sales reporting, and replenishment.
- Drive sales by engaging customers and understanding their needs.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager on training and performance evaluations.
- Handle customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
Job Type:

Compensation:
- $16 to $18 per hour based on relevant experience
Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling, with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours
- Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts as required
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years of retail experience, prior supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving sales goals
- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze sales and operational data effectively
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform tasks related to maintaining the store
