Job Overview
Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Clothing Assistant, where your enthusiasm and detail-oriented mindset will create an enjoyable shopping experience for customers! In this role, you will be a key part of a dynamic clothing team helping move clothing from the point of donation to the sales floor. If you enjoy working in teams, organizing, colorizing, finding the "gem" in the pile of regular items...this job is for you! To note: the clothing department is the largest department of the store and responsible for the largest portion of revenue and funds raised for our charities. Your work will translate to dollars given away to local families and children served by various non-profit organizations as well as to an international ministry serving the deaf community for 25 years. We have a family atmosphere but work to see results.

Duties
- Work closely with Clothing lead to be able to handle any task required in the clothing department. This will include sorting, organizing, tagging and getting clothing to the sales floor properly. May also include sizing and colorizing.
- Maintaining orderly area in clothing production area
- Work in helpful and friendly capacity with our volunteers. Injoy hosts multiple volunteer groups and individuals. Sensitivity to diverse abilities and backgrounds necessary. We love our volunteers and strive to make them feel part of our family and Team! The Clothing assistant will be working alongside volunteers on most days.
Qualifications
- Previous retail clothing experience is preferred; enthusiasm for fashion is a plus!
- Strong communication skills including the ability to engage with people
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management processes enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Positive mindset and flexibility. We are a team and you may be asked to cross-train inorder to help a different production area when needed such as books or donations.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
