Maintenance Lead: Beloit, Wisconsin
Our customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team. We’re hiring Maintenance Leads to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Maintenance Lead, you will maintain production and facility equipment, lead the maintenance team, and ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with all standards.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Lead:
- Inspect, operate, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Dismantle machines to remove defective parts and perform repairs.
- Maintain parts and supplies inventory to minimize downtime.
- Perform general building maintenance and groundskeeping.
- Record and submit accurate work order data and parts usage.
- Support contractors on major installation or retrofit projects.
- Lead, train, and supervise maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Align and balance new equipment after installation.
Maintenance Lead Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write instructions and correspondence.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Leadership experience and ability to supervise a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work safely around machinery and moving equipment.
Pay for Maintenance Lead: starting at $20/hour, based on experience.
