Heavy Field Service Mechanics function as part of the Service Team and perform field diagnostics and repair on a wide range of customer and company-owned heavy classed construction equipment material handling equipment.

About The Position
Heavy Field Service Mechanics function as part of the Service Team and perform field diagnostics and repair on a wide range of customer and company-owned heavy classed construction equipment material handling equipment.

In This Role, You Will
- Travel to customer locations to troubleshoot, perform in field diagnostic inspections, and repair a wide range of heavy construction equipment and components
- Continuously communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and co-workers including Salespeople, Coordinators, and Managers regarding job progress and general updates
- Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety laws, policies and rules, both on-site and during the operation of company vehicles

- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a service technician repairing and maintaining heavy material handling equipment or in a related industry
- Must own a complete line of tools including specialized tools needed to complete the job at the customer site
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record
- Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong technical skills in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with equipment operation
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read or be trained in reading schematics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
