The Director, Skincare Marketing will lead the U.S. commercialization and portfolio strategy for Hugel’s high-growth Korean skincare brands. This role owns the full product lifecycle from market entry and product development through launch, geographic expansion, and long-term brand growth across retail, e-commerce, and professional (HCP)channels.
You will act as the cross-functional “quarterback,” aligning R&D, regulatory, medical, legal, operations, finance, and sales to bring innovative, compliant, and commercially successful products to market. What You’ll Do
Portfolio & Lifecycle Leadership
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle for a growing skincare portfolio (NPD, SKUs, line extensions, reformulations, and end-of-life planning)
- Lead U.S. market entry strategies for Korean brands, adapting for regulatory, consumer, and channel needs
- Define long-term portfolio roadmaps aligned to business growth
- Drive geographic and channel expansion
- Develop positioning, value propositions, claims frameworks, and brand narratives
- Own pricing, margin strategy, promotional planning, and launch timelines
- Partner with sales on training, launch kits, and selling stories
- Identify and manage influencer, partnership, and co-branding opportunities
- Lead integrated strategy across retail, e-commerce/DTC, and professional/HCP channels
- Ensure consistent brand voice, visual identity, and customer experience
- Partner with digital and performance teams to drive awareness and conversion
- Serve as the central product leader across R&D, regulatory, medical, legal, operations, finance, and sales
- Lead stage-gate development and launch readiness reviews
- Own demand forecasting, supply planning, and launch volume modeling
- Partner with supply chain to ensure on-time delivery and packaging readiness
- Manage third-party packaging partners
- Track portfolio performance, market trends, and competition
- Use data and consumer insights to guide decisions and optimize launches
- Define KPIs and dashboards for growth, lifecycle health, and profitability
- 7–10 years of progressive marketing experience, with 5 years in skincare, beauty, aesthetics, or consumer health
- Proven success leading U.S. product launches and growing portfolios
- End-to-end product lifecycle leadership
- Multichannel experience (professional/HCP, retail, digital/e-commerce)
- Experience in regulated environments (pharma, medical device, aesthetics, or consumer health)
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills
- Commercial and financial acumen (pricing, forecasting, P&L mindset, ROI)
- Data-driven, highly organized, and execution-focused
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder alignment skills

Salary : $190,000 - $215,000
