General Laborer – Marine & Heavy Construction (Full-Time Opportunity)
Huffman Contractors is looking for dependable, hardworking General Laborers to join our marine and heavy construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, wants to learn new skills, and is looking for a long-term career in the construction industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Fuel and grease heavy equipment and construction machinery
- Assist with rigging, lifting, and moving materials
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and supplies
- Perform general labor on marine and heavy construction projects
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Assist equipment operators, welders, divers, and construction crews as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Travel to out-of-town job sites as required
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
- Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
- Willingness to travel and work overtime when needed
- Construction or marine construction experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience with rigging or heavy equipment is a plus
