Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting to ensure smooth and durable surfaces.
- Support rebar installation and formwork construction to prepare for concrete placement.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete pumps, and mixers safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain an organized and safe work environment.
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and plastering.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols diligently to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and material handling.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and concrete pumping is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation is a plus.
- Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and safety gear.
- Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
