What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) position at Huff Management Co., Inc.?
Part-Time Maintenance Technician (20 hrs per week) needed to provide maintenance for an apartment complex located in Franklin, LA.
The Maintenance Technician performs jobs including, but not limited to, janitorial tasks, preventative maintenance, repairs, and unit turnovers; performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled building trade duties, operates a variety of hand, power and shop tools; and performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two years minimum experience performing general maintenance to include: plumbing, painting, basic electrical, finished carpentry, flooring, and appliance troubleshooting required. HVAC certification preferred.
- Must provide own tools, possess valid D.L., and have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal history check.
Pay & Benefits
- 20 hrs per week. Work schedule: Monday and Tuesday 8am-3:30pm w/ a 30-min lunch and Thursday 8am-2:30pm. Off Wed/Fri.
- $18.00 per hour
- $35 per paycheck travel stipend and $15 per paycheck cellphone stipend is provided
- Position is eligible for paid time off and paid holidays.
- Uniform shirts provided.
