Role Description: the Hudsonville Technical Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Holland, MI. This role is responsible for safely operating and monitoring production equipment, performing routine adjustments, and ensuring consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process. Daily tasks include setting up, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment, completing basic troubleshooting, and supporting preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime. The Technical Operator follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintains accurate production records, and collaborates with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. This role may also assist in training peers on equipment operation and safety procedures, while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and food safety.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Manufacturing and basic production operations within a food or consumer goods environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance and general Maintenance of production equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and adherence to food safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Training and knowledge sharing with peers on equipment use and safety.
- Relevant skills and qualifications include mechanical aptitude, ability to read and follow standard operating procedures, and basic computer literacy for production reporting.
