Role Overview:
We are seeking a Program Manager / Agile Execution Lead to drive day-to-day execution and delivery across cross-functional initiatives supporting Johnson & Johnson.
This role is focused on execution ownership — ensuring that work is clearly defined, actively tracked, and delivered on time across multiple teams and systems.
The candidate will partner with senior leadership, who will define direction and priorities, while this role is responsible for driving execution, follow-through, and delivery discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Execution Ownership
- Own and drive day-to-day execution across multiple teams and workstreams
- Ensure all work is clearly defined, tracked, and progressing through the delivery lifecycle
- Proactively follow up on tasks, remove blockers, and ensure forward momentum
Delivery Tracking & Coordination
- Manage and maintain program timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Track and actively manage cross-team dependencies
- Identify risks early and drive timely resolution and escalation
Agile Execution
- Operate within a hybrid Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
- Facilitate key ceremonies as needed:
- Sprint planning
- Backlog refinement
- Cross-team syncs
- Ensure stories are:
- Properly refined and actionable
- Estimated with end-to-end delivery in mind
- Completed within sprint timelines where possible
Team Accountability
- Drive accountability across:
- Development
- QA / testing
- Business analysis
- Ensure:
- Testing is planned and executed within sprint timelines
- Minimal spillover between sprints
- Clear ownership of deliverables
Release & Delivery Support
- Support release planning and coordination, including:
- Tracking readiness
- Supporting integration and regression timelines
- Coordinating deployments and hypercare activities
Status Reporting & Communication
- Provide clear, concise updates on:
- Progress
- Risks
- Blockers
- Maintain visibility into execution across all workstreams
Required Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience in Program/Project Management, RTE, or Scrum Master roles
- Strong experience in Agile delivery environments (non-SAFe)
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Proven ability to drive execution and follow-through across multiple teams
