We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our growing mental health practice. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking a supportive environment with clinical supervision provided, opportunities for professional development, and a manageable caseload.
As a mental health therapist, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals (and/or families, couples, groups) while working within a collaborative and ethical clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual psychotherapy and mental health counseling
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in clinical supervision and consultation
- Adhere to ethical standards and state licensing requirements
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team as needed
Qualifications:
- Active LMSW or LMHC license in NY
- Strong clinical skills in counseling, psychotherapy, and mental health assessment
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- New graduates and pre-licensed clinicians welcome
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, or related conditions
- Experience with CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, or other evidence-based practices
