Licensed Master Social Worker Responsibilities
- Respond to crisis and behavioral health calls as part of a community-based response team
- Provide on-site intervention and support during mental health, substance use, and other behavioral health emergencies
- Conduct assessments and help individuals access appropriate services and resources
- Collaborate with crisis call centers, mobile response teams, healthcare providers, and community agencies
- Assist with safety planning, crisis stabilization, and resource coordination
- Support individuals and families with education, advocacy, and navigation of available services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation that meets Medicaid and regulatory requirements
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and professional development activities
- Provide coverage and support for crisis calls throughout Orange County as needed
- Active LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, RN, Occupational Therapist, or related clinical license required
- Must be eligible to provide Medicaid-billable services
- Experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, substance use, or community-based services
- Strong assessment, de-escalation, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in community settings and respond calmly to crisis situations
- Valid driver's license required
- Bilingual Spanish, crisis response experience, recovery-focused training, or knowledge of local community resources is a plus
- Commitment to person-centered care and supporting individuals through recovery and stabilization efforts
