Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and customer service.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend appropriate personal lines insurance products.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies with clients to secure favorable outcomes.
- Manage sales administration tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide guidance and assist clients in understanding their coverage options.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives to promote personal lines insurance offerings.
- An exclusive territory would be assigned to you for incoming leads with the #1 Real Estate company in the state by units.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in insurance sales or related fields such as retail sales or telemarketing is preferred * Compensation would commensurate with experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Support clients with insurance inquiries, policy changes and ensure smooth operations within the team.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze client needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to learn and work with several insurance companies and various software programs.
- Salary plus commission.
- Valid NJ or NY Property & Casualty Insurance License
