Summary
As an Mechanic/Installer at Hudson River Truck & Trailer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper installation of snowplows and trailers. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service and high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Install snowplows, trailers, and possible custom truck bodies according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality before installation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely.
- Provide excellent customer service during installation processes, addressing any client concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout installation projects.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and installation techniques for various equipment.
- Various electrical installations (Brake Controllers, Trailer Wiring, lighting, and other 12V accessories)
- Assembly, installation, and diagnosis/repair of snowplows, sanders, trailers, and hitches
- Assisting Fabricators and Painters
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and have own tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail during installations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
- Must be able to drive to work in all sorts of weather.
