Teller

Key Responsibilities:
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks, and transfers
- Assist and educate members on the use of online accounts, mobile banking and other remote channels.
- Assist members with ITM/ATM transactions and questions.
- Build positive member relationships by identifying member needs and recommending products/services.
- Resolve routine member concerns and issues efficiently, with professionalism, and patience to attract to maintain members.
- Proactive use of fraud-detection resources, to identify suspicious activity early, protect member assets, and uphold integrity of the credit union.
- Support branch opening/closing procedures and assist with branch workflow and coverage
- Foster a fun and collaborative environment to service our members, grow relationships and engage with your peers.
Qualifications:
Experience: One month to one year experience. Previous credit union or financial experience preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Required Skills:
- Passionate about exceptional member service and relationship building.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with banking systems, digital tools, and Microsoft office products
Employment Details:
- Location: HRCCU Hudson Falls Branch, Hudson Falls, NY. *Training may be completed at other HRCCU branch locations that may require local travel
- Payrate: $20.00-$24.00, based on candidates experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills relevant to the position.
