What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transporter - Radiology position at Hudson Regional Hospital?
Responsibilities:
| Insures the comfort of the patient and maintains patient privacy while transporting |
| Transports safely using wheelchairs and stretchers |
| Checks two forms of patient identification prior to transporting |
| Completes an In-Patient transport within 20 minutes - Leave to Return and communicates delays back to department |
| Transports any other required items; documents, equipment, specimens etc. to proper department. |
| Stocks linen and fluid in warming cabinets, documents temperature and labels solutions for expiration. |
| Assists radiology staff in all areas of perioperative services |
| Assists in informing patient family/friends of patient's disposition. |
Requirements:
High school or equivalent
Healthcare experience preferred.
Salary : $10,000 - $20,000
