What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transporter - Radiology position at Hudson Regional Health?
Responsibilities
Insures the comfort of the patient and maintains patient privacy while transporting
Transports safely using wheelchairs and stretchers
Checks two forms of patient identification prior to transporting
Completes an In-Patient transport within 20 minutes - Leave to Return and communicates delays back to department
Transports any other required items; documents, equipment, specimens etc. to proper department.
Stocks linen and fluid in warming cabinets, documents temperature and labels solutions for expiration.
Assists radiology staff in all areas of perioperative services
Assists in informing patient family/friends of patient's disposition.
Requirements
High school or equivalent
