What are the responsibilities and job description for the REVENUE CYCLE MANAGER position at Hudson Regional Hospital?
Manager Responsibilities:
Day to day operations of Business Office operations which includes the following key financial activities:
· timely claim submission,
· aged AR trending analysis
· aged AR follow-up direction an prioritization,
· customer service
· cash posting and reconciliation
· training & education
· special projects
· ensure accurate payer reimbursement
· maintaining third party payer contracted rates in Meditech including Medicare and Medicaid
· Keeping up to date with State and Federal billing and reimbursement changes
· Constant Quality Improvement
· Identifying charge capture opportunities as well as any other issues that Ancillary Departments may arise
· Timely credit balance processing
· Always maintaining HIPPA standards
· Working with external vendors to expedite collections and transfer of information
· Timekeeping and monitoring staff production, work quality
Education/Experience Requirements
- *High School education or GED
- Minimum 10 years Hospital or similar revenue cycle experience.
