IT Clinical Analyst

 Responsibilities  

• Participate and guide the design, development, testing, implementation and on-going maintenance of new and existing applications with a focus on MEDITECH and other ancillary systems. 
• Provides on-going support and maintenance of LIVE applications including direct user support (in person and/or over the phone) during posted support hours and during on-call hours. 
• Acts as the liaison with other IS groups or business departments for system and interfaces troubleshooting and support. 
• Perform MEDITECH user training and be available to assist as needed in system implementations. 
• Strong PC skills/Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel. 

Requirements:   

• Clinical educational background is preferred, but not required.  
• Minimum 3-year experience in Healthcare/Hospital.  
• Should be a self-starter and able to get things done with minimal guidance.  
• MEDITECH or equivalent EHR implementation and support experience in Clinical modules.  
• Should have good experience working with Clinical Staff from all departments. 
• Should have end user training experience.  
• Experienced in EHR upgrades, testing and training. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive projects to completion in a complex environment. 
• Ability to work independently, prioritize projects and provide prompt and thorough follow-up.
