General Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional who wants to make a difference in patients' lives by seamlessly managing both in-store operations and field deliveries. This hybrid role is responsible for receiving communication from referral sources, processing orders, managing the retail showroom, and providing exceptional over-the-counter service. Additionally, this position handles delivering, setting up, and servicing medical and respiratory equipment, ensuring patients and caregivers are fully educated and comfortable with their use.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Retail Operations:

  • Answers telephone inquiries and receives orders from referral sources and customers.
  • Obtains proper information and documentation for all new clients.
  • Performs over-the-counter sales functions, including proper handling of cash register money and servicing walk-in customers.
  • Monitors market influences to ensure all retail products are priced correctly.
  • Maintains the retail showroom, ensuring all products are clean, organized, and properly displayed.
  • Responds promptly to client questions and resolves problems.
  • Maintains open communication with clients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate deliveries.
  • Complies with all applicable organizational policies and procedures.

Delivery & Field Operations:

  • Delivers, sets up, and maintains medical equipment at the delivery address.
  • Educates the patient and/or caregiver on the safe use and maintenance of all delivered items.
  • Completes all necessary delivery forms and paperwork, including invoices, work orders, manifests, and logs.
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company, as well as all applicable governmental regulations.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Typing and 10-key skills preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relations skills.
  • Must have a Motor Vehicle Record free from suspensions, limitations, or convictions for Major Offenses or Serious Traffic Violations as stipulated in Title 49.
  • Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test and background investigation.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires driving a company vehicle for a portion of the workday.
  • Frequently required to walk, sit, stand, use hands to handle or feel, talk, and hear.
  • Requires the ability to frequently lift, transport, and move up to 50 pounds, including patient equipment and full/empty cylinders.
  • Requires contact with patients and equipment with potential minimal exposure to contagious pathogens and liquid cryogenics (e.g., liquid oxygen).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
