Program Director – Residential IDD Services
Location: Somerset & Bergen Counties, NJ
Reports to: Executive Director
Hudson Hill is a small but rapidly growing residential service provider supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). With new homes opening soon and a plan to scale, we are launching a brand-new Program Director position to help lead our expanding team.
The Program Director will oversee all residential program operations, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, strong documentation practices, and effective interdisciplinary collaboration. This role directly supervises the BCBA, Behavioral Assistant, Nurses, Medical Coordinator, and Residential Manager, and serves as a key leader in shaping the next phase of our growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight of all residential programs and directly supervise the BCBA, Behavioral Assistant, Nursing staff, Medical Coordinator, and Residential Manager.
- Oversee attendance records, daily logs, critical documentation, and operational workflows.
- Lead all Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and ensure timely submission of ISP-related materials.
- Maintain AENF documentation and complete required worksheets accurately and promptly.
- Conduct monthly home audits, monitor safety and compliance, and review daily MAR audits.
- Support and monitor implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans and Medical Plans of Care.
- Ensure accurate data collection, Therap documentation, and communication of behavioral strategies.
- Train staff in PBS requirements and Crisis Management Curriculum per DC #19.
- Serve as primary contact for families and guardians, ensuring timely communication.
- Manage incident reports and ensure notifications meet Komninos’ Law requirements.
- Promote a positive team culture through engagement, coaching, and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- 5 years of program management experience in developmental disabilities services.
- Strong knowledge of DDD, Medicaid waiver programs, NJAC 10:44A, and HCBS regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
