We are a licensed New Jersey home care agency dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide compassionate, person-centered services that promote independence, safety, and quality of life. We are seeking an experienced DDD Program Manager to oversee our growing program and ensure compliance with all state and DDD regulations.
Position Summary:
The DDD Program Manager will oversee daily operations of our DDD program, supervise support staff, ensure service plan compliance, coordinate with case managers and families, and maintain (Developmental Disabilities Services) high-quality standards across all services. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and a deep understanding of NJ DDD guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Train staff according to DDD guidelines and state regulationsAccountable for achieving growth targets through proactive business development, strengthening existing referral sources, and generating new client opportunities.
Attend community Engagement (transition fairs, sponsorship local events, conduct lunch n learns)
Ensures compliance with all DDD/DHS policies and procedures. Periodically reviews and updates internal processes to ensure compliance. Updates Internal Standard Operating Procedure manual and communicates all changes and updates with staff in a timely manner.
Preparation of reports including but not limited to internal/external audits
Complete all DDD required webinars and trainings
Be available to assist clients in crisis situations
Work alongside DSP and make sure client medical appointment and daily activities are met
Open Cases when needed
Communicate directly to BCBA when client concerns arrive
Conduct monthly client visits
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field (required by many agencies; experience may substitute depending on your preference)
2–3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (DDD experience strongly preferred)
Prior management or supervisory experience in human services or home care
Knowledge of NJ DDD, Medicaid, and state regulations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Valid NJ driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Therap, EVV systems, or other care management platforms
Strong understanding of person-centered planning
Crisis management and problem-solving skills
