Job Summary
A Teacher's Aide supports classroom teachers in delivering instruction, managing students, and maintaining a positive learning environment. They assist with academic, behavioral, and administrative tasks to help ensure students succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to students
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, orderly environment
- Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervise students during class, recess, lunch, and field trips
- Prepare instructional materials, bulletin boards, and classroom displays
- Monitor and record student progress as directed by the teacher
- Assist with grading assignments and organizing records
- Help with classroom setup and cleanup
