Conducts patient assessments and obtains pertinent medical information for referral to the provider. Develops detailed appointment notes to accurately document patient visits. Prepares, cleans, stocks exam rooms, and orders supplies as needed. Telephones in prescriptions and makes other patient calls as required or directed by providers. Assists providers with clinical support as requested. Professionally welcome patients and visitors to the office in person and on the telephone. Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction. Verify patient Identity, insurance, and payment options. Collect service payments at checkout. Knowledge of the medical practice and diligence in assisting with patient care. Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
