About This Role
You’ll be responsible for the development and submission of numerous correspondence and reports, including Board and Committee packages, and administering records and reports on the HR budget. This role also includes managing the day-to-day administrative tasks within Human Resources and overseeing the HR information posted on the HCCC website.
What You’ll Do
Board and Committee Packages
· Coordinates with department leaders to gather all relevant information needed for Board and Committee packages in a timely manner.
· Develops Board and Committee packages for submission to the Office of the President.
Administration
· Manages HR expenses and purchases
· Monitors and reports on the overall HR annual budget.
· Oversees processes related to employment verifications, data entry, processing of HR forms, etc.
· Prepares correspondence, arranges meetings, and processes confidential reports and documents.
· Develops and distributes employee communications.
· Coordinates with Communications on various Human Resources announcements.
· Organizes and manages events.
· General management of the HR office, and assists all areas of HR as necessary.
· Interacts with leaders across the college to disseminate information.
· Oversees the HR web page and coordinates with all areas of HR to ensure the information provided is accurate and current.
· Supports the processing of onboarding and offboarding paperwork and information.
· Assist all areas of HR on key initiatives and projects.
· Supervises College Work Study students and interns where applicable.
What You’ll Need
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
· SHRM-CP and/or CEBS professional designations is preferred.
· Two (2) years of Human Resources administration experience.
· Experience working in an academic environment preferred.

· Working knowledge of Org Chart software is a plus.

· As a New Jersey First Act Employer, new employees must establish a primary residence in New Jersey within one year.
