Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Business Development Assistant to join our team in Winter Haven, FL. The Business Development Assistant will be responsible for supporting sales and marketing initiatives, conducting market research, managing client communications, and assisting in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Additional responsibilities include coordinating client meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining databases to track leads and opportunities. This position supports the overall growth and success of Hudson Construction Group by fostering strong relationships with clients and contributing to business expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in commercial construction
- Support the development and maintenance of client relationships (B2B)
- Conduct market research and track industry trends
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and bid documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project opportunities
- Maintain CRM systems and sales pipeline reports
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to effectively build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills, including verbal and written, to convey ideas clearly and professionally.
- Proven Analytical Skills and experience conducting Market Research to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with B2B sales processes, preferably in construction or related industries
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for data organization and report creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in construction, real estate, or business development industries is a plus.
