About the Role:
Hudson Automotive Repair & Service in Highland, NY is looking for a skilled RV Technician to join our growing team! If you love working with your hands, solving problems, and helping customers get back on the road, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on recreational vehicles
- Perform routine RV maintenance including inspections, oil changes, and brake service
- Troubleshoot and repair RV appliances, HVAC systems, and slide-out mechanisms
- Conduct roof, seal, and water damage assessments and repairs
- Communicate repair needs and estimates clearly with service advisors and customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Document all work performed accurately in the shop management system
Requirements:
- Prior experience in RV repair, automotive repair, or a related trade
- Familiarity with gas, electric, and plumbing systems common to RVs
- Ability to diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and visual inspection
- RVIA/RVDA certification is a plus but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license required
