In this job you willInteract with customers and provide exceptional customer service; educate customers about bicycles, bicycle accessories and clothing, and any other cycling-related products or services in the store.Assist in the daily operations of the store, including restocking, cleaning, organizing and merchandising.Provide one of a kind customer service through direct and detailed interaction with customers.You areDependable People-oriented AdaptableProactivePositiveProblem solverBicycle sales experience preferred. Riders and enthusiasts preferred. Open to all ages and levels of experience.DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:Greet customers and utilize the sales process to understand a customer's needs and ascertain the right combination of products and services for the customer.Provide positive and excited one of a kind customer service.Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.Fulfill online orders that are for in-store pickup or need to be shipped.Merchandise product according to sales plan.Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise.Maintain level of cleanliness throughout the day.Help customers try on or fit merchandise.Prepare merchandise for purchase or rental.Other duties as needed/ assigned.RequirementsRequirements include but are not limited to:Minimum 1 year experience preferred working as a retail sales associate.Previous bike shop sales experience preferred.Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales experienceStrong attention to detailAbility to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customersInterest in developing own skills and knowledgeAvailability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekendsNice To HavesPreferred candidates will have knowledge and experience in any or all of the following systemsPoint of sale POS software such as Lightpseed RetailShopify or other e-commerce platformsCreating shipping labels with UPS, FedEx or USPS.BenefitsA competitive benefits package including health insurance, store discount and flexible scheduling is available to all associates.About UsHuckleberry Bicycles is a full-service local bike shop with a national e-commerce model.
