The leading western suburban law firm has an immediate need for an attorney to join its Employment Law Practice Group.
This is an ideal position for a candidate who wants to develop a sophisticated practice in a collegial environment which also provides ongoing business development training.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience (preferably in the employment law group of a larger firm or at a labor and employment boutique firm) and should have experience in both employment litigation and counseling matters, including single plaintiff employment litigation, wage and hour class/collective action experience, handling agency charges, drafting employment agreements and employee handbooks, and advising clients on day-to-day HR matters and employment law questions.
Candidates should also possess a strong work ethic, be detail oriented and have a desire for autonomy and significant client/matter responsibility, have excellent drafting and negotiation skills, a superior academic background, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
