HUBMASTER® Warehouse Automation Systems is a leading European provider of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) across various industries. We manufacture stacker cranes, racking systems, and conveyors, and we are integrators of automated guided vehicles (AGV/AMR). Our flagship product, the HUBMASTER® System, boasts an advanced Automatic Multi-Aisle Stacker Crane, featuring innovative patented solutions for pallet and crate handling.


As we expand our operations in North America, we are seeking an experienced EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) in North America.


Job Description:

As an EPC Project Manager for our Automated ASRS projects, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of automated storage and retrieval solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning and design to installation and commissioning. This role requires communicating with vendors, clients, and internal teams to make sure project is executed correctly. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery, and maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction. This role requires expertise in project management, and understanding about automation technologies, software, and warehouse operations. This role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Create comprehensive project plans that detail scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients, promptly addressing inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments to manage the delivery and installation of automation products.
  • Monitoring Progress: Track project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Procurement: Work with the purchasing team to source materials and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Installation Oversight: Supervise the installation of HUBMASTER products, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Team Coordination: Organize the activities of engineers and developers to facilitate project success.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular project status reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Travel: Travel as needed within the US, Canada, and overseas to support project implementation.
  • Cost Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Permits: Obtain necessary permits for installations to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits for data measurements, onsite surveys, and engineering drawings as needed.
  • Software Management: Oversee the implementation of warehouse control software.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Individual who is passionate, self-driven, takes initiative, and committed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 2-3 years of related experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in automation or material handling systems.
  • Remote work will be provided in addition to needing to travel 20-30% of the time.
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of automated technologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Travelling to client sites as needed will be required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service expertise, combined with the capacity to lead confidently and decisively.
  • Robust organizational and leadership capabilities, enabling adept prioritization and concurrent management of multiple projects involving diverse teams.
