This Production Associate role is to support our foam product production lines.
Responsibilities:
Production:
Dispense foam into mold cavities
Remove finished pads from molds
Prepare molds for subsequent production runs
Familiarize yourself with components of assemblies and finished products
Assist with tooling and mold changeovers as directed by the Molding Lead
Adhere to established production procedures
Follow instructions from the Molding Lead
Quality Assurance:
Continuously evaluate pad quality and make necessary corrections/recommendations
Clean molds according to written procedures
Adhere to all safety protocols established by Hubco Inc.
Workplace Maintenance and Safety:
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in work areas around molding equipment
Safely lift and move components weighing up to 50 lbs.
Remain in a standing position throughout the work shift
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. No prior manufacturing experience required, but 1 to 2 years of experience is desirable. College experience is a plus.
Skills/Abilities:
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Open to coaching and feedback
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in reading and understanding the English language
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
