The Role
We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Seasonal Customer Service Representative to join our team during our busiest time of year. This role is the voice of Hubbard Peanut Company for customers calling to place an order, ask about our products, or track down a shipped order. You'll ensure every customer receives the same warm, personal service we've built our name on, all while keeping up with the pace of the holiday rush.
What You'll Do
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, assisting customers with orders, product questions, and account issues
- Accurately enter and process phone orders
- Provide order status updates, tracking information, and resolve shipping or delivery concerns
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with patience and professionalism
- Stay knowledgeable on our full product line, including seasonal offerings and gift packaging options, to make helpful recommendations
- Flag recurring customer issues or product feedback to management
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to all company policies
What You Bring
- Previous customer service, call center is preferred
- Friendly, patient phone and email communication skills
- Comfortable working at a fast pace during high call/order volume
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Basic computer proficiency (order entry systems, email, Excel/word processing)
- Ability to work as part of a team and stay positive under pressure
- Flexibility to work extended and/or weekend hours during the holiday season, as business demands
