What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Field Technician position at Hub Tech Solutions?
Summary
Hub Tech Solutions is a small, growing IT and communications company serving small businesses across the Hattiesburg area. We're looking for an IT Field Technician who's comfortable both behind a keyboard and out in the field. This is a Tier 1 position with real potential for growth. You'll handle day-to-day technical support and hands-on installation work, everything from troubleshooting a workstation to deploying a network or pulling cable for a new buildout.
Success in this position means becoming someone our clients trust and someone the team can count on. Early on, that looks like reliably resolving support tickets and assisting on installs. As you grow, it means taking on more complex work, owning projects independently, and advancing into higher-tier responsibilities. This is a key role on a small team, the kind of position where what you do directly shapes how the company grows, and where there's genuine room to grow with it.
