Hub Tech Solutions and EasyVoIP are looking for a dependable, motivated Field IT Technician to assist with business IT support, VoIP deployments, network installations, low-voltage cabling, and general technical operations throughout the Hattiesburg area and surrounding South Mississippi region.
This is a hands-on role that combines field work and technical support. One day may involve pulling cable and mounting wireless access points, while the next may involve troubleshooting workstations, deploying VoIP phones, or assisting clients remotely.

- Pull and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Install and mount wireless access points and UniFi equipment
- Configure and deploy VoIP phones
- Troubleshoot PCs, printers, networking issues, and general business IT problems
- Assist with workstation deployments and office setups
- Perform remote support using RMM tools
- Maintain organized cable management and labeling standards
- Travel to client locations throughout South Mississippi as needed
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches, WiFi)
- Experience pulling or terminating low-voltage cabling
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 environments
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365
- Experience with UniFi/Ubiquiti equipment is a plus
- Experience with VoIP systems is a plus
- Prior MSP, ISP, low-voltage, or field technician experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift equipment and work on ladders when needed
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks responsibly
