What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Women’s Mentor & Housing Support Coordinator position at HUB 61?
HUB 61 is seeking a compassionate, organized, and spiritually mature woman to walk alongside women in our housing program as they rebuild their lives. This position combines mentorship, accountability, case management, and practical life coaching to help participants achieve long-term stability and independence.
The ideal candidate has a heart for discipleship, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to balance grace with accountability.
Responsibilities
Build healthy mentoring relationships with women in the Hub 61 housing program.
Conduct scheduled and random home visits.
Administer random drug screenings in accordance with program policies.
Monitor cleanliness and care of ministry homes.
Collect program fees and maintain accurate documentation.
Assist women in creating and following personal budgets.
Help participants establish new homes, including coordinating furniture, household items, and move-in logistics.
Prepare lease agreements and program documentation.
Maintain confidential client records.
Connect women with community resources and supportive services.
Encourage personal responsibility while offering Christ-centered support.
Communicate regularly with ministry leadership regarding participant progress and concerns.
Qualifications
Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the mission of Hub 61.
Passion for serving women in crisis.
Excellent communication and relational skills.
Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Ability to maintain healthy boundaries while showing compassion.
Comfortable addressing difficult situations with grace and firmness.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
