Market Coordinator Part-Time

Position Summary

HUB 61 Market is seeking a compassionate, organized, and servant-hearted individual to oversee the daily flow of our thrift market while supporting the mission of Hub 61. Every purchase and donation helps provide housing, mentorship, and hope to women and children in crisis.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, organizing projects, leading volunteers, and creating a welcoming environment for customers and donors.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers, donors, and volunteers with excellence and hospitality.
Coordinate and supervise volunteers throughout each shift.
Recruit and build relationships with new volunteers.
Delegate daily tasks and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Operate the cash register and provide exceptional customer service.
Receive, sort, and process donations.
Organize, stock, and merchandise inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.
Assist with pricing merchandise as needed.
Help implement store procedures and maintain operational efficiency.
Work alongside the Executive Director and volunteer leadership to accomplish ministry goals.

Qualifications

Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the mission of Hub 61.
Friendly, dependable, and highly organized.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and lead volunteers of all ages.
Customer service experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
Flexible, teachable, and willing to serve wherever needed.

*Must be able to work Saturdays 9:45-2:15*

Pay: $26,000.00 - $32,500.00 per year
