What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define project scope and objectives.
- Recommend solutions and business process improvements that can be achieved through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Translate business requirements into application requirements and collaborate with team members to support successful application execution.
- Engage client teams, explain moderately complex initiatives clearly, and address client hesitations or concerns.
- Estimate costs for various system solutions and prepare project plans to support project prioritization and IT resource allocation decisions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and support ongoing system operation, maintenance, and development.
- Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10 years of experience in a Business Analyst capacity required.
- Prior experience working with financial applications or financial domains.
- Experience working with JIRA and Microsoft Visio.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
