Overview / Summary
We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant with strong hands-on configuration experience across SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling. The role focuses on designing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting SAP FICO solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have 7 years of configuration experience with S/4HANA FI and CO modules, including FI-GL, AP, AR, and AA, along with experience in CO-PC, CO-CCA, CO-ML, and CO-PA.

Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant
Overview / Summary
We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant with strong hands-on configuration experience across SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling. The role focuses on designing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting SAP FICO solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have 7 years of configuration experience with S/4HANA FI and CO modules, including FI-GL, AP, AR, and AA, along with experience in CO-PC, CO-CCA, CO-ML, and CO-PA.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and requirements and support user-centric software solutions.
- Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using appropriate tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies, and technologies.
- Assess software application or service requirements and determine appropriate technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
- Create high-level software architecture designs outlining application structure, components, and interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and architects.
- Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes.
- Continuously improve application performance and optimize applications while implementing new technologies to improve development efficiency.
- Apply software development practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Support FCV/FCTA stand program activities.
- Support month-end close programs.
- Perform substitution and validation configuration.
- Configure company codes, exchange rates, and related settings.
- Apply ledger and subledger knowledge.
- Perform in-depth hands-on configuration of required SAP FICO modules.
- Analyze problems and troubleshoot to identify root causes.
- Read and debug ABAP code without performing technical development.
- Support integration with other S/4HANA modules, including Purchasing, Sales, and Production.
- 7 years of configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA FI and CO modules.
- Hands-on configuration experience with:
- FI-GL
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- CO-PC
- CO-CCA
- CO-ML
- CO-PA
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6 years of IT experience.
- 4 years of development experience.
- Practical experience in two coding languages or advanced practical experience in one coding language.
- Experience working in a multi-company-code, multi-currency environment.
- Ability to perform in-depth hands-on configuration of SAP FICO modules.
- Ability to analyze problems and troubleshoot to identify root causes.
- Ability to read and debug ABAP code without performing technical development.
- Knowledge of integration with other S/4HANA modules, including Purchasing, Sales, and Production.
- Experience with SAP development technologies, including ABAP, integration, and UI tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a Product-Driven Agile organization.
- Master's degree.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering-related fields, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
