Summary:
The Registrar-Float is designated to float to clinics/departments based on the Registrar's competency level. Completes appropriate competency and cross-training to float to designated units. Performs a wide variety of activities which includes registering patients for outpatient services. Provides a positive first impression of the local entity. Collects insurance co-pay and deductibles at Point of Service. Quickly and efficiently expedites the admitting procedure.
Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience
Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
