Derivatives Clearing Services (DCS) sits within HSBC’s Global Markets business. DCS generates commission revenue through execution and clearing futures & options trades, as well as clearing eligible OTC derivatives for the Firm’s clients, which include asset managers, hedge funds, banks, brokers, and corporates.

As Our Futures Execution Sales, Associate You Will
- Responsible for trade execution across global future and options markets in a range of asset classes; as well as general trade support and backup for the desk
- Provide comprehensive coverage for our clients, including market color, thoughts and trade execution advisory
- Partner with wider sales organizations and trading businesses to facilitate F&O order execution
- Identify new client opportunities through origination efforts while supporting DCS’s existing relationships
- Attend customer events, meeting and seminars
- Liaise with derivatives exchanges and trade platform vendors for future and options
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Having some knowledge and understanding of global markets and the principal asset classes (fixed income, equities, currencies, commodities)
- Strong interest in learning about futures and options markets
- Detailed oriented, self-starter with reliable oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Series 3 (can be obtained post hiring)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
