Position Summary: General accounting, fixed assets, trend analysis, business insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing journal entries and conducting month end close task with minimal supervision.
- Preparing account reconciliations, including bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Reconciling intercompany balances.
- Preparing documentation for external auditors.
- Collaborating with preparation of annual budgets.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ability to work the designated shift for the position.
- Demonstrates initiative in understanding process flows and controls.
- Ensures strict confidentiality of financial records.
- Abides by all applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with and/or adheres to company HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Ensures integrity of data entered into company systems and/or databases.
- Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
- Able to work independently.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Accounting
- 3-5 years of working experience as general accountant
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Understanding of month end closing process (full-cycle accounting)
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Advance level Excel, Pivot tables, V-lookups)
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and manipulate large amounts of data.
